Two Rivers Coalition (TRC) is sponsoring a series of paddles this summer to celebrate the opening of the Paw Paw River Water Trail. The Riverside paddle will occur on Sunday morning July 22 and we will paddle 2.5 miles through beautiful floodplain forest from Bundy Road to Coloma Road. Participants will meet at the launch site at Bundy Road (quarter mile north of the bridge) no later than 9:30 a.m. to unload boats. We will then stage vehicles downstream near the Coloma Road bridge. Because of extremely limited parking at the Coloma Rd.bridge, we will park some vehicles at a business in Riverside.
The paddle will begin approximately at 10:00 a.m. and it should take an hour and a half to leisurely float this stretch. Wearing a life jacket is required to be part of the group paddle. Afterwards, we will plan to meet up at a local business for lunch/refreshments.

TRC has a limited supply of loaner kayaks, paddles, and life jackets available at no charge for people who don't have their own boat. RSVP is required for people wishing to borrow a kayak (kevinhaight58@gmail.com), but no RSVP is necessary for folks bringing their own boat.
