A developed boat launch facility within the Burt Lake State Park. The park itself has modern camping facilities, a swimming beach, flush toilets and a picnic area, all within walking distance of the town of Indian River. The Park sits near the mouth of the Sturgeon River and Burt Lake. A popular pass time is to float down the sturgeon back to the park, therefore paddling this river would be a nice side trip.
