The Lincoln Street Boating Access is adjacent to the Cheboygan Lock and Dam facility which is also a nice park. This is the last upstream access before the locks when paddling down the Cheboygan River. The Boat Launch is closest to Lincoln Street, it is a double concrete launch with docks. The Lock & Dam area has trails, interpretive signs, picnic area, pit toilets and fishing access. Very scenic and interesting area to watch the boats go through the locks.

Available in Spring Available in Summer Available in Fall Public Restrooms Fee Required

Parking Lot parking is available.

Public restrooms are available (Pit Toilet).

Picnic Area

Developed boat access.

Length of access is less than 50 yards.

The developed launch is concrete and is busy just downstream from the Lincoln Street Bridge. The launch is adjacent to the dam and locks. Could carry down below the dam and put in or to portage around the locks. Use extreme caution if doing this this.

The sign for this site is in the water/on shore/bank (visible from water).
