Duck Lake State Park is a day-use park, featuring a towering sand dune; the park stretches from the northern shore of Duck Lake to Lake Michigan. Fishing, hiking, swimming and picnicking are just some of the activities in this beautiful park.  There are pit toilets available at the parking lot.  Lighting, picnic shelter, flush toilets, potable water and power are located .75 miles north, then east through the park.  Coming in from Lake Michigan, you can paddle up the channel, to the bridge.  Stop before the small weir and exit to the North or portage into Duck Lake.  A paved walkway leads to the parking lot.  During summer months, many children will be playing in the Duck Lake channel.
