The Village of Alanson recently developed the Island Sanctuary Park which is at the end of East Street where it hits the River. The Park includes a small hand propelled ferry to get to the island and short boardwalk around the island. Access of non-motorized watercraft is possible at this location with parking and other park facilities.

Length of access is less than 50 yards.
