The Bear River Beach is located on the south end of Bear River which runs through the City of Petoskey. The beach is a short walking distance from the Petoskey Municipal Marina, visitor center and historical museum which are located on the north side of the river. They are joined by a walking and bike path and bridge over the Bear River. 

Restrooms are located at Bayfront Park across the Bear River walkway and marina. 

Parking Lot parking is available.

Carry-In boat access.

Length of access is less than 50 yards.
