Fisherman's Landing is a very popular campground, boat launch, and fishing area with locals and tourists. Located within a commercial port section of town, the Lakeshore Trail bike path connects it to downtown Muskegon and other shoreline amenities to the east and west. It is close to hotels, restaurants, and museums.

Length of access is less than 50 yards.

The concrete launch ramp and wooden docks were built for motorized watercraft.  Access is within an area protected from wind and waves, but water depths are deep just a few feet from shore.  There is no fee for parking or launching.  There is a fee for camping.  Fisherman's Landing was constructed and improved with natural resources trust fund grants.  The City of Muskegon owns Fisherman's Landing and a volunteer board provides support and organizes fishing tournaments and other events.
