The Dossin Great Lakes Museum sits on the site of the original maritime museum, the schooner J.T. Wing.

Built in 1960 with contributions from the Dossin brothers, famous for speed boat racing, the museum houses the Miss Pepsi, the first speed boat to reach 100 miles per hour.

Other exhibits include the Gothic Room from the SS City of Detroit, the wheel house of the William Clay Ford, an achor from the SS Edmund Fitzgerald, and a nostalgic display of Boblo Island.
