John Henes Park is a 2,600 foot water front area with picnic tables and numerous activities. These include swimming, and a life guard is available (hours may vary), along with hiking, sightseeing, biking, fishing and of course kayaking. Three partially enclosed pavilions with electricity are available for reservation.

Public restrooms are available (Flush Toilet).
