The day-use park has an outdoor toilet, narrow sandy beach, picnic tables and spectacular vistas.  The beach is a wonderful place to launch your kayak or canoe.  Intermediate kayakers will enjoy the 3.5 mile (one way) trip around the point to Scammon Cove. South prevailing winds, open, deep water
