Paddlers can experience the quaint White Lake area communities before paddling the scenic sand dune shoreline toward Muskegon that features Duck Lake State Park and Muskegon County's Pioneer Park. Muskegon State Park is located on the north side of the Muskegon Lake harbor channel. Camping is available at Pioneer Park and Muskegon State Park. The City of Muskegon's Pere Marquette Beach, restaurants, lighthouse, maritime walkway, public transportation, bike path and museums are available on the channel's south side.
