A water trail loop through Lake Bellaire, just a few miles south of the Village of Bellaire.  There is a loon preserve at the north end of the lake, please make sure to stay away from any nests.  There is an option for paddling from Bellaire by starting at Ohio Street on the Intermediate River.  This route is considered an Intermediate Level.

All of the access sites included on the trail are open to the public and have been approved for inclusion by the site owner. This water trail is still in the beginning stages and therefore no additional water trail signage is installed on the ground at this time.

Trailheads include: Cottage Drive Park, Notewares Landing, and Fishermen's Paradise DNR Access. Please note, a recreation passport is required at all DNR Accesses.

Lake Bellaire may also be accessed from Ohio St. Launch in the Village of Bellaire. Note that the current heading upstream back into Bellaire may be strong.
