DESCRIPTION:This event is hosted by the Chippewa County Community Foundation (non-profit) in Sault Ste. Marie.  It is a free family event (with the exception of kayak/stand-up paddle board/canoe races which have entry fees) for the public.  There will be a lazy river float\, music\, Short's Beer Tent\, canoe battleship\, squirt gun races\, large canoe rides\, 10 person stand-up paddle board\, water trail tours\, vendors\, food\,  games and plenty of freighter watching\,   In addition to all the family fun\, there are competitive and recreation level kayak\, canoe and stand-up paddle board races on the St. Mary's River.
