Originally donated in 2008 by Gretchen Bearce, this preserve complex grew to 27 acres in 2012 when a local fundraising initiative successfully helped LTC acquire adjacent acreage.
Dominated by oak, maple, and beech, the preserves contain a short but nice trail system.
From downtown Indian River, travel 2 miles north on M-27 and turn left on Waubun Road.
Travel 1 mile to intersection of Waubun Road and Waubun Beach Road, the property is on the right. Park along the side of the road
