The site is accessible from an unmarked rough dirt two track about 1/4 mile long.

There is a steep straight dirt drive down to a boat ramp on the upstream side of the dam.

There is a steep short dirt path down to the river for paddlecraft on the downstream side of the dam.

The dam has been partially removed and replaced by a temporary water containment structure and is fenced off.

Parking Lot parking is available.

Developed, Carry-In boat access.

Length of access is less than 50 yards.

The old dam structure is largely removed and repaired with a temporary water containment structure and will be the site of additional work on the dam and in the near future, probably beginning in 2020, Superfund Site clean up activities. Access to the river is still available now but is likely to be limited or prevented when clean up begins.
