This stretch of sandy, Lake Michigan shoreline between Pere Marquette Park and Kruse Park features the popular "dog beach." The City of Muskegon provides facilities for dog lovers to allow their four-legged friends to stretch their legs and enjoy the water. Both parks offer picnic facilities, playgrounds, and restrooms. Public transportation is available. Pere Marquette Park is located on the Muskegon Lake harbor channel where restaurants and museums are also available.
