This trail circles Michigan's only National Park.

Trail 2: Western Upper Peninsula Water Trail Western U.P. Water Trail

This trail skirts the shores of Lake Superior from the western tip of the U.P. to Huron Bay at the eastern Baraga County border.

Trail 3: Hiawatha Water Trail Hiawatha Water Trail

Running 120 miles from Big Bay to Grand Marais Michigan on Lake Superior's south shore, the Hiawatha Water Trail (HWT) follows a shoreline paddled by Native Americans, Voyageurs and early European explorers.

Trail 4: Lake Superior East Water Trail Lake Superior East Water Trail

Running from Grand Marais to Whitefish Point on Lake Superior's south shore.

Trail 5: St. Marys River Island Explorer Water Trail St. Marys River Island Explorer Water Trail

Running from Sault Ste. Marie to Drummond Island along the Michigan side of St. Marys river.

Trail 6: Lake Huron North Shore Water Trail Lake Huron North Shore Water Trail

Running from the DeTour peninsula to St. Ignace on Lake Huron's north shore. This also includes Mackinac and Bois Blanc islands.

Trail 7: Lake Michigan Water Trail Upper Peninsula Lake Michigan Water Trail Upper Peninsula

Running along 400 miles of Lake Michigan's northern coast.
