Come check out New Buffalo Beach and rent a Kayak and/or Stand-Up Paddleboard (SUP). This location is run by Third Coast Surf Shop in downtown New Buffalo, Michigan. The site allows paddlers to paddle up the Galien river and back or, to check out Lake Michigan. The site is located next to the boat channel. Paddling out the channel into Lake Michigan is strictly prohibited. However it is not a long walk with a Kayak or SUP from the site over to the lake. Rentals are open from 12pm-6pm Daily throughout the summer. Rates are either hourly,daily, or weekly.
