The southwest portion of the Lake Michigan Water Trail is from the Michigan/Indiana state line to Holland, Michigan. You will paddle along spectacular sand dunes, wilderness areas and quaint beach towns providing many opportunities to eat, shop, play and rest. Beach towns include New Buffalo, Bridgman, St. Joseph, Benton Harbor, South Haven, Saugatuck/Douglas and Holland.

A 9.4 mile paddle from Warren Dunes State Park and Campground to Lincoln Township Park near Stevensville. Camping is also available at Weko Beach in Bridgman.
A 7.9 mile paddle from Lincoln Township Park (near Stevensville) to Tiscornia Beach in St. Joseph.
A 10.8 mile paddle from Hagar Roadside Park to Tiscornia Beach in St. Joseph. Recommend paddling north to south because of stairs at Hagar Roadside Park.
A 10.7 mile paddle from Hagar Roadside Park to Deerlick Creek Park (near South Haven) with 2 options for camping.
A 14.5 mile paddle from Deerlick Creek Park to 121st Avenue Access.
A 6.7 paddle from 121st Street Access to Oval Beach near Saugatuck/Douglas.
A 10.3 mile paddle from Oval Beach (Saugatuck/Douglas) to Tunnel Park (near Holland). Camping available at Holland State Park.
