Featuring 950' of frontage on Lake Michigan with 300' as public beach, the Elizabeth Kennedy Nature Center, boardwalked trails, dune observation platoform and seasonal guided tours, the Thorne Swift Nature Preserve has many options for visitors.

The Preserve is open daily from 10am until a half hour after sunset from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Trails are open from the first week of May through November 15. The Nature Center is open on weekends until October 15. 

There is a $5 parking fee for non-residents of West Traverse Township.
