This public park features a covered bridge, two picnic shelters, a pond and walking trails.  The pond offers an easy launch and access to the river.  You can paddle upstream as far as Military Road for a quick trip.  The downstream paddle is very fast and shallow and cannot be paddled upstream.  There are several large logjams that a group is working to open for eventual access to the Main Rouge.
