Access Point

On the North Side of Sheridan Road in the Bear River Recreation Area there is a access point to the river just below the road crossing. There are 14 stone steps and the water is running fast through the culverts making this a difficult take out location. Take out on the south side of Sheridan. This is the perfect place to put in for the Petoskey White Water experience.

Parking Lot parking is available.

Carry-In boat access.

Length of access is less than 50 yards.

Down 14 stone steps.

A nearby local outfitter provides just rentals including transport of boat.
