Oden Island is a very scenic area and would make for a nice paddle for beginners when crooked lake is calm. There is a steep short carry down on the south side of the bridge. A better access point is Springvale Township Park on the road to the bridge.

On Road Shoulder parking is available.

Alternate boat access.

Length of access is less than 50 yards.

West side on the north side of the bridge there is a steep carry down through weeds. East side on the south side of the bridge there is a little better access but still not ideal.
