Norman F. Kruse Park features approximately one mile of Lake Michigan Beach, with breathtaking views of Lake Michigan from atop a wooden stairway boardwalk. The park offers four large picnic shelters, playground and an accessible ramp to the beach and into the dunes.  The northern part of the park is designated a "Dog Beach" and is very clean and very popular.  The location is visible from the water because of the switchback stairs that lead to the picnic area, restrooms and parking lot.  Public transportation is available near the park entrance.
